Freezes with HDD connected - uglybuddy6 - 21.08.2014 11:01
When i start up my dreamcast with the dreamshell RC2 disc and the HDD connected it will stop on this screen. Any ideas on what to do?

Maybe something wrong in connection, check all again.

hdd must be in slave mode

Exactly! It seems that the HDD in the master mode. Need switch to slave mode.

The weird thing is that today when i woke up and turned the dreamcast on it worked. The problem must have fixed it self when i was sleeping. Thanks for all the help!

Maybe a bad contact somewhere. Therefore, it's does operate intermittently.

Now that i think about it, it was probably my harddrive because i did reformatted before i tried again
EDIT: It was the harddrive my apologies for thinking it fixed it self. After go looking at the steps i took i can confirm it was my harddrive. It was formated wrong. Thanks for all help i appreciate it.
