This game doesn't works with true async DMA? Why you select emulating async instead of true async?

for it to work perfectly every game that uses MMU
with true async DMA the game works partially.
the rc4 not working wince games?

Most should work. But need use ISO or optimized GDI with true async DMA.

Can you show video? StarLancer works for me... Only one WinCE game from my test lists doesn't boot - Half Life.

CF or SD->CF adapter? I removed from IDE driver reading by CHS (it's very old method, but maybe adaper use it), now supports only LBA. But in any case CHS doesn't support DMA, only LBA reading mode can use DMA.
Try defragment HDD, highly fragmented files maybe a problem.
I has CF, but now I can't find power adapter cable, as I find it I'll check CF with WinCE.

I'm sure CF works well, it's not have difference to HDD in driver code. But I can't check it now, still can't find power adapter cable Sad

I see in aldair(?) videos, as he used SD->CF adapter, not a native CF Card. It's adapters is the dark horse and can works only in PIO modes or only with CHS reading or something else, I don't known really.
In any case, I just found power cable for my CF (Sandisk Extreme) and will check it now.

I tried WinCE on my CF and it's works great.
Aldair, show your CF plz, seems with it something wrong.

I thought so. This is not a native CF card, it's a SD->CF adapter. Seems it's not a good device.
Native CF card works good with all features as HDD.
Any adapters it's a risk. Seems your adapter doesn't support something... But I'm not sure what, DMA or LBA48 maybe?

I has dual SD->CF adapter and it's really ugly device. On DC it's doesn't works, on PC works slow.

This device doesn't support LBA48, only LBA28. But this is should not be a problem...
In this mode can read only 256 sectors per request, but it's equivalent to FAT32 limit.
Please show me speedtest result.
