Hi, I want to thank you guys for the work u had on this project...

I have some questions..

I did the ide mod and my 2.5 ide hdd works ok...

I tryed a cf to ide adapter with jumper on slave with two different microsd (Im using cf to microsd adapter) and one of them is detected lba28 and stucks on mounting filesystem...
The other microsd is detected as CHS?? but dosent boot...

Both microsd are fat32 32 and 64cluster...

I have a sata to ide adapter with jumper on slave that detectes hdd as lba48 but stay stuck...

Can you guy give me some help with this? Thanks!

Best choice it's a native IDE device (IDE HDD or true CF card).
For adapters I can not guarantee their work because it's have some internal logic usually not very good.

Another question if I may... Sometimes Im playing from hdd and the dc freezes and I need to "hard reset", its kinda random..

I use the recommended settings.. Other problem is the a+x+y+b+start to reset the dreamcast freezes the dreamcast, need to "hard reset" again...

Some help? I double checked the connections.. Many thanks

Try clean power supply connector pins.
a+x+y+b+start sometimes doesn't work for me too, I don't know why.

I think if it was dirty pins it will happen when Im playing from the gd-drive aswell... But I will give it a try, thanks

My 2.5 hdd works but random freezes during gameplay and after that freeze hdd its not detected, if I wait some time and try again it detects the hdd and play normal until the freeze again :/

You can use any adapter, need just master/slave switch on it.

I have a adapter ide to cf with a cf to sd card on it, the dreamcast detects lba48 but stays saying that lba48 was detected nothing else.

hdd works ok

I say only about navite CF Card, not about SD->CF adapters.
Native CF Card has IDE interface inside, so you need just direct connect card to DC and that all. Simple IDE->CF adapter doesn't have any logic, this is just a socket adapter (IDE cable to CF socket), nothing more.
But SD->CF adapters has additional logic for converting interface, this is can be a problem.

Quick update, I got a different IDE to SATA adapter and I get same problem, stuck after lba48 detected..
But if I boot with a CD throught SD card I can see the HDD on dreamshell.. I can even do read/write tests and explore it in file explorer... But if I open a game it get stuck on loading executable..
Aldair said to me that sata HDD only work with small wire, not long and I think he is right, I cant get mine working, only speedtests and explore it.
PS: IDE HDD works fine
