I downloaded Neo Geo games that are in CDI and DreamShell won't open them. Does anyone have any tips for getting them to load on the console?

1. To launch DreamNeo CDI: DMAoff + 0x8c000100 (or 0x8c001100 / 0x8c004000) + KATANA.
2. Which specific game do you want to launch, and where did you download it from?

I downloaded it from a Brazilian forum where they also do translation projects for Portuguese. It said that these games are direct to run on the Dream in CDI format. In other words, I believe that you need to burn a disc and run the game. Each game is 700 megabytes in size.

With the next version of DreamShell, a converter for CDI to GDI will be available.

а ISO зачем? они и так работают
в целом конвертер не будет делать полноценный GDI, это будет custom GDI частичная поддержка которого, уже есть в DS, просто в следующей версии будут исправлены ошибки
сам конвертер написан для ПК, а не для DC, так что конвертировать образы можешь хоть на windows, хоть на linux, хоть на macos.
ну и стоит так же понимать, что это именно конвертер, если у игры есть защита, то никакой конвертер не поможет
