need help with dreamcast HDD IDE

OK, may have just been a loose connection on my DC then, or the console was left in an unknown state?
It didn't seem to do it the other day, so I'll try it again later and see how it goes.

Right now, I've just tried booting from CD-R, and DS booting from HDD, and it's much better.
Now I can play twice as many games in Direct mode.

Just need to crack that BIOS protection now, and I'll probably never use a GD drive ever again. lol

It's definitely booting the core from the HDD though, which is excellent!
