But it's not working for me... I trying everything. But no luck at all.
But right now i see two things that have a difrences in my case:
1) You used CF card. ( I use IDE HDD, and this is not matter i think...)
2) You used NTSC console (or modded one...)

Today i try two GDI images of Radirgy but still have the same result - black screen...
I think, i need region mod.

And i have question to you: What kind BIOS you use?

Super Robot Taisen Alpha for DC (jp) not work,tried optimize gdi but still can't boot and return to DreamShell main gui
(seem it works in DreamShell rc4 beta ver)
SWAT if have free time please take a look and try to fix this game

Try defragment HDD or format.
HDD support LBA48?
I test all games on USA region (use region changer mod).

Radirgy not working for me , also try the default settings and more .
.- There are still problems with both ISO Hombrews as executable files .
.- The Dreamcast reset command now works with most of the games resetting and rebooting Dreamshell.
.- If you start Dreamshell from the GD- Rom it executes Homebrews at least in ISO format.
.- The reproduction of CDDA works in most games both Katana as Windows CE but not if Homebrews ( Sturmwind or Fast Striker , etc ) or emulators ( eg Neo Geo ).
The compatibility list is at increased considerably congratulations guys!

1 - Always if add games or if i made some changes with HDD.
2 - Yes. Ofcourse he supported. (Seagate Baracuda 7200 rpm 200 Gb [model: ST3200822A])
3 - Right now i not have Region MOD. Like i say before, i think this is my "problem". When i add the Region Mod on my console i try it again.

Homebrew doesn't works with boot loader bioses, it works only with stock bios or sd_loader_with.bios
Need patch the bios checking in homebrew binary (cdrom init code), I still doesn't add this feature to iso loader.
And yes, CDDA still doesn't works in Homebrew by some reason. I think I fix it later.

I see, apparently to support lost some important games such as Sonic Adventure 2 SoulCalibur and keep trying to see what's wrong .
However games like Propeller Arena works perfect now
Macross M3 EX now shows some errors in some sprites such as the logo of Macross .
Virtua Cop 2 also shows errors in some textures ( usually characters )

Another issue is that I was using a DVD MPEGSotdeck which has the quality to support more resolution with a higher bitrate. I understand this is CRI ( Criware Sega ) as not being Homebrew worked perfectly and am using a tool convertion for Xbox 360, thanks to this the results are incredible .
But dreamshell RC 4 stopped working
So you see that could be implemented to playing more than decent video Dreamshell ?
Swat you can send the material?
Also I have some examples.

Radirgy does not work with IDE HDD. It works with ide ssd

If you has problems like this, just try disable only true async (use emu async) or disable DMA fully. Should help.
Last version of iso loader has new async DMA transfer code, so it's still has some problems

Additional info: If you turn on DMA with "True async" it stops playing after "Sea of Cloud" level, if you turn off "True async" it stops playing after "Marine Base" level. Any others options not help to me at all. So sad...

@Dark Hayabusa: i am really grateful for your compatibility list, but it is *really wrong* to mix results from 4rc3 and 4rc4. Please distinguish it somehow.

I think a new compatibility thread should be made, this one already too big anyway. Or at least use paragraphs:

You yourself have stated that 4rc4 compatibility differs from 4rc3.

I do keep log for myself, and i know what games where tested on 4rc3 and on 4rc4. But new users wont know it. And i do know how it's frustrating when game don't work for you, when it supposedly should be working.

I test all games on USA region (use region changer mod).

Today i add Region MOD to my console... And i try CF to IDE converter also.. (actual it's adapter, not converter)

And...

1) Not have any differences what you use, CF or HDD!
2) For some games region of console, it's very important thing!

@Zimada, there already is google table of compatibility. Link was in this thread. But you did not find it. So most of users won't find it either.

The thing is to keep everything simple, but clear.

@Swat: could you share how you are testing games? What settings you change first(memory, ip.bin, fast boot, auto os, katana os, etc.).
how fast boot affect compatibility?
what memory addresses you check before you give up?

I newer knew you are using usa bios. I always thought at least you are using pal console and bios.

Is there any differences for compatibility between "usa console and usa bios" and "pal console and usa bios"?
