That's ok. I can use the old loader if I want to play it. I actually have the old loader on my SD card and the new one on my CF so I can easily switch between the two loaders. Smile

I was just wondering if Megavolt knew what the issue was with the GDI.

i've just tried booting stupid invaders eu and all i get is a black screen, anyone know how to fix this?

yes, i know. same problem as Evil Twin
i'm research is letter, now i'm find error for Alone in the Dark

RazorX2018 it's alredy work, i'm upload new loader when create fix for Alone in the Dark or Evil Twin

Test Drive 6 works for a while, then freezes the screen on rc4.

Do you use an IDE CABLE ATA133 "AWG32"?

During my tests in IDE/CF/SATA/SSD I noticed that the ATA100 IDE cable didn't boot some games.
A little like on "Xbox 1" or if you don't put an ATA133 IDE cable, you have problems, well the same.

That is why it is very important to use a PCB for me to put an ATA133 "AWG32" IDE cable.
(ATA133 AWG30 it's random..so use AWG32)

or the best thing is not to use an ide cable !

I don't know what the wire gauge is but I haven't run into any problems booting games. Everything that should boot, boots fine.

can anyone help me figure this out please, i bought an 44 pin ide to msata board because i want to replace my 44 pin 250gb ide hdd in the dreamcast but it doesn't get past the boot loader screen.

DreamShell most likely just doesn't like the adapter. It's very picky about using any sort of adapter (CF, SATA, etc.). I don't know if anyone has successfully used an mSATA adapter with DreamShell before.

Boot Dreamshell with SD MOD (or Dongle),and put only your games in your HDD.
With this configuration :
- Boot without problem
- Presets work
- Better stability for dreamshell,no crash etc...

As said "pcwzrd13" it is also possible that this is the adapter,I never tested in mSATA.

Try remove Pin 1

i can get into dreamshell using an sd card but the hdd doesn't show up in dreamshell despite it being detected by the boot loader

Friends, excuse my ignorant question ... but why does iso_loader sometimes not optimize the GDI? A console window appears and closes very quickly, but the optimization process does not begin. Has it happened to you before?

may be long file name or gdi with not standart filenames

@MilkeyWilkey : nfl blitz works with loader 0.6.3 it's a very small loader without cdda and dma, but probably the size of loader is important.
