I'm fairly certain the issue always occurs when one track ends and another one begins if that helps.
This is something I noticed when using 0.6.1 with V-Rally 2: After the first CDDA track ended and the next began it would always be distorted and glitchy, but would be fixed by pausing and resuming. That may be a suitable example.

I try to boot geist force that don't boot with ssd ?
No boot with 0.6.11_se, like 0.7.x loaders...
Do you run it with 0.6 loaders ?
I Try to repack the game maybe I'll have a better issue.

Geist Force starts with loader 0.7.x beta 3 (loader 10).
But freeze during first kinematic :-(
Each time I test with last loader 0.6.x but for the moment don't start...

I didn't be able to extract datas from @megavolt85's geist force release probably due to track04.iso.
I repack a version I have already in a standard gdi format with only three tracks and I opt it :

This version run with my hdd ssd, there are even so some reboot, maybe because of the game is a beta, or I didn't have the last version else the loader.
It runs only with 0.7.x beta 3. Do you have a better result with 0.6 loaders please ?

@Swat I have a strange issue with ScummVM games, when I run directly the boot freeze during descrambling step, but I descramble the main binary before creating the .iso, the game boot like a charm with any 0.6 loader homebrew OS...
The descramble tool and those inside the loader are not the same ?

Don't worry, @megavolt explain to me.
The descramble include in 0.6 loaders is only for KOS.
Scummvm is simply different :-)
fortunately, the descramble tool in iso make pack can do it for scummvm too (maybe opengl ? If I try to understand).

I've done some tries with loader 0.6.11_se and shenmue I :
The game run well with no DMA true sync (look at dragoncity list for complete preset).
With DMA enabled I've a black screen during boot except with true DMA, the game freeze with at first loading.
The game boot with loader 0.7.x, it means the dataflow in true DMA is not totally perfect ? Even if we have a better issue with visual concept games with loader 0.6.11_se than 0.7.x ?
I tries some homebrew games with cdda but unfortunately I still have some crashes...
Maybe I did something wrong when I build my gdi opt from cdi version :
The track01.bin is important for cdda games ?
Because I still use the track01.bin from a standard game with no cdda, it's probably a mistake...
For running king of fighter 97, @aldair have a gdi, but for others neo4all or homebrews, we don't have it.

Мужики, привет всем. Кто подскажет или опубликует конкретную, стабильную сборку дримшела, бутлодера и биоса, может есть какая то кастомная или сторонняя сборка? Привода нет, загрузка с СД карты, игры с жесткого диска (IDE). На данный момент для себя использую DS RC3, потому что работают игры удовлетворительно, на DS RC 4, большая часть игр с ДМА у меня вообще не запускается. Напишите у кого как и с чем. Спасибо!

I convert GDI with "repack_gdi.bat".

Pso v1 in cdi and gdi only works if you create the iso in Create_homebrew_ISO.bat.

I tested shrink doesn't work maybe not good version for python or I don't know but nothing after "Done !".
