With the last version,In setting,when I click on SAVE VMU it past nothing.

But if I reboot,it's directly in Iso_Loader..like when I clicked on save vmu.

And if I remove the VMU...works again...!!

The save it's on DS folder now?

>> I confirm the file "DS_CORE4.CFG" it's on IDE disk.

I tested Soul Calibur in SATA and CF...GDI and GDI OPT

The result : Smile
When I said works,I would like the same of CD
> Music in the selection of Character
> No Glitch during the selection of Character
> Music during the game

CF : Works perfectly in GDI
Config 0x8c004000 and SYNC 2

SATA : Works,but very little lag I think in GDI OPT
Config 0x8c000100 AND SYNC 7

i totally agree with you, if the game is not running as smooth as it is on cd then no use.

and i found out that my 2.5 inch 5200 rpm sata hdd causes some games to not to run, so i will change it maybe to ssd or another hdd

but for soul calibur, intro movie is normal in sata for you?! its green for me and stops before kilik appear even!!

With this config no problem,just a little lag. Maybe with SSD it's better.

mmm, ok I borrowed a ssd 64 gb from a friend, its sata 3 Chinese brand (kingspec), formatted to fat32, tried both 32 and 64 cluster size

it stops at the screen before ds starts, stops at (mounting bla bla)

does ssd play at all on this mod?!

its this screen yes but at the line saying (mounting file system)

iam using about 1 cm thick steel wire soldered very well, i cant make it shorter Smile
did you try SSD sata drive???

yes 1 cm, iam following aldair nethod since i started many months ago

here is his video, ground is too short bcoz its from sides, its not ground issue in my case, but could be another wire indeed

I say that because if I use an extension with an Sata 3.5 I have the same error like you.

Do you put 12v?
