So it's different than I have seen for having a homebrew compatible IDE :
I saw this to do in the 1st_read.bin :

replace EC745FA0
because for me : mov #1, r8 gives 0x01 E0 in hex format big endian.
It's an other thing to do in the 1ST_READ.BIN if I understand well ?

Afaik homebrew needs to be scrambled and E4745FA0 needs to be replaced with EC745FA0 right?

So what about chainloading then?
Let's say I create a selfboot inducer gdi with unscrambled binaries for dreamsnes, snes4all etc.. will this work?
Do I only need to patch selfboot inducer 1st_read.bin or all binaries?

Thank you megavolt85, yes indeed Dreamsnes is a bit shitty when it comes down to rom files.
I've created a iso which works on the old loader which contains MANY roms.
Most (if not all) PAL games and only NTSC-U games which were not released in PAL-region.
Only I didn't look into NTSC-J that much because I don't understand japanese.

Perhaps you can convert to GDI, only need to hack the binary.
One last request would be NEO4ALL and/or AES4ALL.
I see on youtube videos of metal slug from neogeo running on the Dreamcast very well.
Never played those games before.

Sturmwind is a very good looking shooter but it was never commercially released by SEGA.
So it's only available on CD-ROM.. that would be my final request then

Sturmwind as Pier Solar have protection, need more time for hack it
I do not hurry with breaking of this game because similar games on Dreamcst much
Pier Solar was cracked by the first because was of bigger interest

Hi, NesterDC SE is an updated and polished version of 7.1.
There's a unofficial 1.1 version with improved rom browser.
