В планах у меня подключить HDD. Вот я и думаю надо мне этот мод или не надо. Меня не напрягает торчащая в боку дрима флешка)))
Мне хард то по идее только для того чтоб DOA2 не тормозил, а то напрягает слегка)))

Прошивка sd_loader_with.bios несколько глючная, до RC3 в ней вообще совместимость была в 2-3 раза хуже чем на оригинальной прошивке. В RC3 (с загрузчиком v0.5.0) я это в большей степени компенсировал более глубокой эмуляцией системных вызовов и новым методом загрузки, но все же он немного хуже чем оригинальный биос, ибо запуск игр в режиме "IP.BIN cut" срабатывает не со всеми поддерживаемыми играми, хоть и с большинством.
Поэтому я скажу да, смысл есть сделать этот мод. К тому же загружаться DS будет гораздо быстрее напрямую с биоса, чем через корявый SD загрузчик в sd_loader_with.bios, это вообще была dev версия, просто получилось так что она прошла проверку и поэтому осталась в таком виде, там идет лишняя инициализация SD и скорость у нее занижена в 2 раза...

i got my order today but have proplem with PIC K150 i cant find the driver for Win8 64Bit please someone help me

ok i have reprogrammed the PIP 12f675 on another PC and i turn on the dreamcast but freeze at dreamshell any help please ?

EDIT2:
Its work now, but if i remove the GDROM the dreamshell never load, can dreamcast load without GDROM ?

Ну вот всё (хардварное) готово для new bios мода.
Теперь что? Загрузиться с SD, прошить MX29LV160 на БИОС с сисколами ,шрифтами и ядром Dreamshell, сам Dreamshell кинуть на hdd, bios flasher кинуть в папку apps?
HDD (40ГиБ) перед этим нужно как то подготавливать? Форматнуть в FAT32 я так понимаю, и что на него закинуть?
Просто в доме у меня только ноутбуки поэтому готовить винт придётся на работе((
Направьте в нужное русло пжлста)))

Yes, DC can work without GD drive, you need just resonator 33.8688MHz for AICA on GD socket pin B23 = CDDA_CLK

ISO Loader now works as with stock BIOS?
Region Changer doesn't work with custom BIOS, but this mod will switch the custom BIOS to stock BIOS immediately after boot.
Therefore, it is strange. Maybe your PIC doesn't work?

i have crystal oscillator 33.8688mhz is this work ? if not please can you show me a picture how to link resonator to the dreamcast

The ISO loader work i played some games works fine but some games doesn't work like Shenmue
and about PIC how i can test it work or not ? when i change the switch the console boot the old Dreamcast bios and if some game not work the PIC switching automatic to boot old Dreamcast bios show me clock, memory unit and setting, after turn off/on the console back to dreamshell this happen juts with some game that doesn't running
the Region Changer was work fine to me before change to the new mod

Need active crystal, I don't known how to use it. I just use GD-ROM motherboard Smile

Hmm I don't know about problems with Region Changer, I have not new BIOS mod yet.

megavolt85 Вот сколько я фотографий нового мода видел, ни на одной нет перемычки на MX29LV160TMC с 1 на 23 ногу. Нужна она всё-таки или нет?

Конечно нужна, просто на фотках она припаяна к ближайшей точке +3,3v, а 23 нога есть ни что иное как +3,3v.

i flashed my console with boot_loader_pic12f675.bios, syscalls worked and the Region Changer its work fine Big Grin

but i want dreamshell you have it i watched your youtube and i saw VMU MANAGER i dont have it so please just upload your dreamshell not bios
