Anyone know what settings to use for Worms World Party on RC4 (GitHub)? I'm able boot the game no problem (0x8c004000, DMA, CDDA) but I'm not getting any music.

Ah ok. Yeah, all my GDIs are optimized. I tried 0x8c000100 and 0x8cfe0000 (both with DMA) but I'm getting the same result. Game boots fine but there's no music. I should mention that I'm using the US version of the game.

Try PAL version. Do you have a PAL console?

I would but I can't find a PAL GDI anywhere. I have a US console with the DreamShell bootloader BIOS.

Thanks! I'm starting to think that might not be the issue though. I tried ChuChu Rocket as well and I'm not getting any music there either. I'm guessing the problem is with CDDA in general.
Edit: I found the issue! If the game is optimized, the music won't work. I tried unoptimized GDIs and the CDDA audio works fine. Unfortunately a lot of the CDDA games won't boot at all without being optimized. ChuChu Rocket and Vanishing Point are the only two I've gotten to work. Any ideas on how to get the music working with optimized GDIs?

Thanks for notice that. I'm trying to keep cdda games in .gdi and no cdda in optimize.
do you know if I can delete the track02.raw (it's the security : "this is the dreamcast disc") and often the track 04.raw (except for ecco it's a real cdda tracks with a wonderful music.
Karous doesn't works. Unfortunately... with underdefeat, half life and geist force...
Beats of rage and dragon ball works with .cdi mode repack with nrg header and homebrew os.
I run deep fighter in english and italian version with nrg header but no cdda. the .gdi doesn't run with nulldc neither.
I'll try tom & earl III.

In PAL (IDE) chuchu rocket FREEZE after a moment..have you test during 20 minutes..? Maybe don't freeze in US console..maybe!
The only solution for me on PAL console it's use with SD ^^

Looks like you're right. Seems to be related to CDDA Audio Emulation. Turn that off and it works fine.

when you use a gdi otpimized, do you have the cdda audio available or not ?
The new DS folder is released ? (with the hdd master mode ?)
