Strange. Works fine for me on 0.7 with a CF card. Using the NTSC-U GDI.
I think it's an issue with the sata adapter.

Hi @megavolt85 I think I've found a regression in 0.7_b2 maybe due to the new region emulation. There are some games like omikron nomad soul that have more languages despite being US and they read the language from the bootrom. In 0.7_b2 they always load in English but in 0.7_b1 and others they load in the correct language e.g. Italian. I found also another "bug": I store my games on ide drive but I launch dreamshell from sd. Until beta1 was all fine and I was able to launch my games from ide drive but from b2 when I try to launch them dreamshell hangs prior to boot the game. If I launch dreamshell from ide itself no problem. As always thank you much for your efforts.

Just noticed a strange issue with Culdcept II. With the 0.7 loader and a HDD, the game will freeze randomly. With a CF card however, it works perfectly with no freezes. It's very unusual as the only other time I've had freezing issues is with a CF card and the VC games.

Подскажите, чтобы была максимальная совместимость игр на hdd mod - нужна 0.7.х версия? И возможно ли, чтобы была и 0.6.0 и 0.7.х на дримшеле? Как сие загрузчик поменять/установить/дополнить на дримшеле? Что то читал, не нашел сей момент.

да, но только если твой HDD поддерживает LBA48

переименовать загрузчик например в 1.bin, в настройках isoloader для использования загрузчика вписывать имя загрузчика 1

I didn't know you could do that with the current version of the ISO Loader application! That's great! Now I can set shortcuts to use the best loader for each game.
Did you ever get that IDE-SATA adapter to test games with? I'm curious if it has the same freezing issues as the CF card with the Visual Concepts games. I've gone back to using the IDE HDD for now as they work perfectly from there. It would be great if that's an issue that can be fixed though.

yep, i'm get IDE-SATA, but dreamshell don't boot with my adapter
when I have free time I will write new Bios with the debugger and I will find the hangup reason

I get error when trying to use loader v0.7.0. It says "can't init IDE."
I use a IDE to SATA adapter. I use StarTech.com IDE to SATA adapter. . It use Maxwell chip 88SA8052. Also I have PIN 1 remove as is only way to let me boot dreamshell. I attach picture of error.

в Skies of Arcadia есть один не критичный глюк - зависает интро всегда на одном и том же моменте. Погуглив немного нашёл упоминание, что на GDEMU виснет там же. Есть идеи, с чем это может быть связано?

I now have a working IDE-to-SATA adapter to test games with! I can confirm that none of the Visual Concepts games will boot from a SATA HDD with the exception of World Series Baseball 2K2. So it appears they only work properly from a standard IDE HDD.

Thanks to keep going on, it needs probably a fix, because not all IDE-TO-SATA converter works too.
@megavolt85 was talking about a bios fix, but maybe in the loader too...
