Hello @ megavolt85, thanks for your work friend. I wanted to comment if you have noticed that the loader 0.7.0 b3 (loader 10 in the dragoncity pack), only takes the English language regardless of whether the bios of the dreamcast have another language, (In my case Spanish) ... Skies of Arcadia, Wacky Races and other games with no language selection run only in English. Has anyone else noticed?
Use loader 8 or 9 if you can.

I think the 0.7 loaders (without cdda) work a bit better compared to the 0.6 loaders.
For example for Soul Caliber I have to use loader 1 and it works.. but it lags a bit.. it's not that fluent compared to games on 0.7.

Just noticed that the sound effects in Volgarr the Viking don't work on 0.7. They work fine with 0.6 though.

The sound of homebrew seems to be different than original games (due to PIO and DMA bus ?)
Cdda with hombrew have some issue too... Unfortunaltely.

Hello: I am new in this forum, 1st I just would like to thank to all the stuff who is working hard making softwares for our Dreamcast
2nd: Knowing some of the softwares availables for DC NTSC with HDD (my case) I would like to know which Loader is offering the best compatibility today RetroDream or Iso Loader for the DC with IDE HDD. (Now I am trying hard, but failed many times, to play SWWS 2000/Super Runabout/NBA 2K series/NBA Showtime)

Hey Ro,
I'm pretty sure the compatibility is the same. RetroDream is like a new Frontend or UI for the fantastic efforts of the Dreamshell guys. So in short I'd say RetroDream is a little easier to use because it's just meant for game loading but you'd probably be silly for not having a full installation of Dreamshell also on the drive so that you can boot it anytime you need it's extra features.
Most of the games you've asked about all need Megavolts most recent update with WinCE support. If you are using Dragoncities package is loader 10 or Megavolts 7.0 Beta 3. Sadly, NBA showtime will run on earlier loaders but the announcer doesn't work because it uses CDDA a bit strangely and haven't found a configuration to get it and NBA Hoopz working. The games play fine though without the announcer.

Hey Guys,
Recently I've been trying some of the fan translated Dreamcast games. Street Fighter 2X, Fire Pro Wrestling, Napple Tale and even Typing of the Dead. These are all CDI so they obviously don't run using 7.0 but they all boot. Street Fighter 2X seems to run fine. Typing of the Dead (changed to allow EU keyboards) seems to work fine but both Fire Pro Wrestling and Napple Tale both hang with default settings. Fire Pro hangs once you try to start a match and Napple Tale hangs as soon as you hit the main menu but the intro is fine.
Does anyone know if this is a failure of fan altered CDI's or is it that I have to change settings?
