DreamShell is more suitable to use iso format, because the data is continuous, so the speed is faster than ordinary bin format gdi, especially those gdi format iso produced by megavolt85

btw，The actual capacity of 90% of dc games does not exceed 700mb

yes, but in pirated CDIs the sound and video were of poorer quality due to the slower speed of the CD

Yes, cdr is indeed slower than gdrom to read.
But for those who only have gdrom, they can accept this speed difference ^-^


BTW, track01.iso and track02.raw are not used in the game, so can we delete these two files?

track01.iso used in WINCE games, for KATANA you can remove two tracks

yep, atomiswave ports use only track03
track04 is only 1ST_READ.BIN and reads only by bios for load main binary

Alone in the Dark - The New Nightmare v1.000 PAL на 0.7.0_b2 работает? Пробовал запустит, после вступительного видео черный экран! Образ оптимизирован, настройки использовал стандартные.

Попробовал запустить с адресом 0x8cf80000, но игра все так-же зависает после вступительного видео.

адрес всегда ставь 0x8ce00000 так наверняка
дело в том что прелоадер собран под 8ce00000, меняя адрес в нём всё патчится, но смысла в этом нет, потому что прелоадер закидывает сам загрузчик в 8C000000, по сути адрес у загрузчика всегда один не зависимо от того что выставлено, вот только патчер похоже порой что то ломает

Хотя адрес выставляю 8C000100.

UPD: При адресе 8С004000 запускается.

Force Five run very well with 0.6.11_se 8C000100.

But Kenju freeze at loading after you have choosen your mode (story or fight) at 0x8CB00000...
Someone have the preset please ?

пардон, это адрес для других загрузчиков, а для 0.7.0 всегда ставь 8ce00000, вот прям для абсолютно всех игр

Kenju use all memory, the only way out is to play with IDE HDD and loader 0.7.0

он с косяком вышел, почему то не запускался, а переделывать я его не стал
