MAME has recently been supporting dreamcast emulation (still preliminary), and CHD’s are staring to become included in the romset.
How does the CHD format differ from the GDI format? I am particularly curious because there is an average of about 20% between the two file formats. Is it because CHD is compressed? How else do they differ?
