Hello friends, I am going to try to build an sd adapter to connect it to the serial port in an external way, so far I have always used this mod internally eliminating the resistance "R620" of the main board. I want to know if it is possible to build an SDcard without removing any component from the main card and using only an SD to microSD adapter? regards.

I finally strip off pci slot from broken mainboard like below screenshot.

But How can I build an sd adapter for dreamcast with this pci slot?

Hi !
you take this socket and cut it off as in the photo along the orange lines, so that you get a rectangle with 10 holes, insert the slats from the socket into them, these will be the contacts.

I am in the process of building an sd adapter,It seems that it is extremely hard to trim PCI socket in order to correctly fit with all small pins inside serial connector in dreamcast.By the way,I don't have any SD card for sd adapter currently.Is it possible to use SD card of below link(16GB or 32GB Class 10 SDHC) for sd adapter?

EDIT:
I finally succeed to make SD card adapter for dreamcast.and When I inserted Sandisk 32GB SDHC Class 10 SD card into This SD adapter I confirmed that It is possible to launch dreamshell. Now I think that It was far more harder than soldering GD-ROM's PCB to make G1-ATA mod,Because interval of all pins inside serial connector in dreamcast is too small to fit with cutting PCI socket.
