Does Dreamshell support CSO images , aka compressed ISO images ?
If yes, how ? what are the limitations ?
I can't seem to get it working on my system.

I did exactly that.
Unfortunately, the resulting .cso file can't be read by DreamShell
(while the original iso file was working just fine).

Because CSO needs more memory
Not all CSO games increase read speed, some vice versa reduce speed
If you need good speed and compatibility, look towards G1ATA mod

I would be glad if it was a performance problem, but that's not the case.
The *.cso file is not loaded at all.
Either nothing starts, or when it does, it crashes immediately.
