I am having this issue for the second time. Now I was just testing videos with DC Playa 2.0 and a video freezed. So. I restarted the console then appears that message from Dreamshell.
(The HDD was not been hit. If I connect another IDE it works normally but this no more)

You must set HDD jumper to slave. it doesn't work if you set HDD jumper to master or no hdd jumper shunt..

Else maybe a deffragler shot.
I have a strange issue too.
Retrodream doesn't boot with hdd, suddenly.
Since i plug again a sd card reader, it's fix...

It was fixed. I am testing if it was the bus data cable or some DS files which was modified by an error produced by the freezing
