I'm trying to build a Dreamcast link cable.
I've bought 2 sd card adaptators.

In theory, yes. It may be necessary to connect the SCK to GND on both sides. Cuz without this, the connection to the PC doesn't work.

use the diagram from your first post, i drew it many years ago and it definitely works, i assembled two cables and they work great.
i used a shielded usb cable 3 meters long
