I'm working on a complete GDI Compatibility List. At the moment I can test almost all the missing PAL games.
I have used here with the information in the first post!

The play marked with "Black Screen" I have not yet tested every one to the other loader memory. So can be the start of yet which.

Just tested Shenmue 1 Passport (PAL) and it WORKS! Even from SD. Settings must be same as for Shenmue 2 (0x8cfe8000).
Unfortunately, "theatre" section does not load videos, but it's not a big deal because the main feature of this disk is "Information" section with 3D models of different characters.

Also noticed that in Shenmue 2 Disc 4 "Digest movie" causes infinite black screen.
So bad that Shenmue 1 still is not working At least on RC3, don't know about RC4 because it is not released for public

На данный момент Shenmue 1 не работает и в RC4, непонятно почему, но игра падает в защиту или в режим отладки, точно сказать не могу что это, но игра постоянно ждёт чего то с serial порта. Как именно игра определят подмену сисколов непонятно, похожая проблема и с Ooga Boga.

Using SD Adapter, Dreamshell 4.0 RC3 - IP.BIN 0x8cfe8000 & 1+ (Settings)

Shenmue 2(GDI) near the end of Disk 1 , when you enter the apartment for last cutscene gives 'DATA READ ERROR -19 MPK00.PKS'.

Used a CD copy to pass the Cut scene and saved data for CD2, when loading the save on CD2, gives the same error.

Cannot progress.

Anyone else experience this?
Does it work better on IDE? Anyone make it pass this point? or Finish the game from the beginning?

UPDATE 07/27/2015:

You can use the CDR version to pass the Cutscenes that gives Error, save and replay in Dreamshell.
Obviously this won't work if your drive is broken.
I am trying to avoid using the GDROM when I can, and also Shenmue 2 GDI is better with all the voices.

CD1 has 1 error at the last cutscene of the CD.
CD2 has 2-3 errors, First cutscene of CD2 and Warehouse #8. (3rd Error I don't recall correctly, maybe was only 2 errors)

I am currently playing CD3, and has no errors so far.

Will keep this updated.

L.O.L. -- works with DMA. No VGA and possibly, no VMU. No picture on the VMU while playing. I'm new to the game so this might be normal.

Floigan Bros -- No working

Armada -- Not working. WinCE

Sega Marine Fishing (us) -- Works with DMA

Charge n Blast (us) -- works with DMA

Gunbird2 (us) -- Not working

hello what setting of the loader i have to use for boot street fighter zero3? neither gdi or cdi works to me, i only get DC rebooting... i use ds 4 rc3

thanks i have used a gdi dump, then optimized, put on 16like you did but it keeping resetting the DC. other games works fine...
also berserk it arrives until the menu, new game, infinite loading..why?

i tring to patch and create iso for ide DS from cdi files, but with cdda audio games how i extract these audio tracks? i only get game data files and are few mbytes..in particular with tokyo extreme racer 1. thanks!

also i converted gunbird2 and chaos field, but 1st shows only a vmu windows and then black and the 2nd only black screen. what settings i have to use?

thanks a lot swat fantastic torrent is dreamshell still under development? when you think to release a new version?

i can't still make sfzero3 gdrom opt working: any settings i try make my DC resetting what i can do?

also why skies of arcadia boot but the game seems running like with wrong refresh rate? all the screen is messed up, i'm on rgb scart. its the only game that makes this thing

also i wanto to play games such as sturmwind, gunlord and all the new games, no one is working to me, and i can't make a new iso from these games with iso make pack because they use cdda tracks: how i extract games file and cdda tracks? or there's a way to convert and use cdi file directly? many games that were not working after i re-created the iso with isomakepack now works.

Still not sure about release date...
Try use US version Skies Of Arcadia, it's support VGA (PAL version doesn't support), maybe RGB works better too.
New games has memory protection... Some of them can works in RC4 I think, but only on HDD with DMA yet.
Using original GDI can solve you problems with creating ISO's Just optimize it and enjoy.
