while the UDMA 6 card boots these games just fine but has problems with other games like Atari Anniversary or Ducati Racing which all freeze at the in-game loading screen.

I was using the exact same loader/DS folder & gamefiles on each card.
So it seems the brand doesn't make a difference but the CF card speed does?
This is a really weird problem which can hopefully be addresse in a future update because it is really irritating and quite frustrating to say the least.

It wouldn't be anything to do with speed. In your case the slower card is able to boot the VC games but in my case it's the opposite.

Well, it's pretty hard to troubleshoot the cause under these circumstances, but I think I got most of the other (non VC) games to work now using custom LUA desktop scripts that make use of a specific ide loader version at launch. I was able to fit around 430 retail games on my 256GB CF card using a combination of shrunk down GDI and ISO images.

If anyone wants these scripts I suppose I could share them here.

Of course me too, I don't understand where the problem come from with visual concept games... But for me it's a dataflow form issue. the speed with hdd ssd and CF is faster than gdrom.

Copy them to your HDD/SSD/CF card and run the included batch script.

I've noticed that DreamShell gets very unstable and crash-happy if you place more than 300 icons on the Desktop at once and if you exceed 400 DreamShell refuses to load altogether, which is a bit annoying.

You can adjust the batch script to your needs if you want a specific collection of icons on your Desktop or just copy the scripts manually, but you should keep it below 370 to avoid major issues with the OS.

Maybe this could be addressed in a future release of DreamShell as well.

Has anybody tried Shenmue Undub on latest or 0.6.x loader? I remember I could play it before but it wont launch no matter what now

EDIT: managed to boot it from SD. strangely both undub and original versions refuse to boot from ide

Try with 0.7.x in opt format.

Alone in the dark alone into 4 ISOLOADER into the game to run well. Make a desktop shortcut icon is selected after the character screen after go in. Can't find what reason.

Some run the game in the 0.7.0, in B2 version cannot be run.

Sonic Shuffle and Rez stuck at executing, setting IP.BIN doesn't work. Both games work on previous version

Sword of the Berserk - no vmu

The game runs fine but can't detect vmu.
I'm using sata adapter.

То, что многие игры стали идти у меня на японском, это норма? Образы европейские и американские, загрузка через IP.BIN ничего не меняет. Примеры: Sonic Adventure, Chu Chu Rocket, Crazy Taxi. В системе стоит язык английский, регион USA

Strange. Works fine for me on 0.7 with a CF card. Using the NTSC-U GDI.
