GD-ROM ripping with dreamshell.
Hello
I'm trying to rip my copy of chu chu rocket. I need the dump file. So I'm using dreamshell. This is what I'm doing at the moment:
1. Put in SD-Reader then insert SD-Card
2. Boot with SD card into dreamshell using the bootloader cd
3. Click on file manager
4. Select the second directory viewer and click on /sd
5. Click the GD-ROM rip icon and click it
6. Take out bootloader disk and insert Chu Chu Rocket.
7. Click green arrow to start ripping to /sd
What happens as a result of this is dreamshell recognises that it's a gdrom and lists the sessions. It also creates an .iso file in the root directory. I left this on for a few hours. It was a blank file. 0b in size.
I'm using the original NTSC-U firmware in the united states with a non-modded dreamcast. The SD-Card has 16gb of space on it, more than enough for the GD-ROM to be dumped onto.
I want to know if I'm doing anything wrong here. If I am doing something wrong, tell me what that is and the correct process to go through to fix it.
Thanks,
