The King of Fighters: Dream Match 1999 only works if extracted from GDI to make ISO + CDDA using repack_gdi.bat.
Quake3 (USA) works fine in GDI but in ISO it does not boot.
I tested the CDI Converted to ISO of KOF99 Dream Match it boots, but without CDDA.

Hello, they must be PNG or JPG format of 256x256 pixels.
They go inside the folder.
/DS/apps/games_menu/covers
After this you must enter the application and click on the “Start” button and “Optimize Covers” within the application .

General compatibility of CDDA is not changed, except UT and VA0. Also some optimizations for SD card ADPCM tracks.
Ah also should works VMU emu 1800 blocks + CDDA in Q3.
Strangely enough, when the music loops for the second time, it's almost normal

What is this image, who created it and from what? I don't have enough information.
Better - just give me non working images.

I think that I got a bug. When I set OS mode to Homebrew in Iso Loarde, on the new Games Menu app this setting is Katana. When I set it as Homebrew, Iso Loader shows Katana.
Another thinking, on my tests, some games that worked on the preview version, on this version stoped working, for example:
Quake 3 Arena, freezes after intro videos on splash screen. My version is GDI version optimized.
Ooga Booga Echelon - Don't boot, black screen.
Sega Rally - Don't boot, black screen.
These tree games, with exception of Ooga Boga, did work on the previews version of Dreamshell 4.0.0.
Another strange issue: When I started Dreamshell 4.0.1 for the first time, I tested Sonic Adventure with the default settings (Dma, 0x80001110), and the game booted normally and was playable. But the next day, it didn't boot anymore. I tried different settings, ran a defragger on the HD, formatted the HD, and replaced it with another HD, but the same issue remained.
My setup is a VA1 Dreamcast, G1 Ata mod—GDRom board (without optical drive) with an IDE to SATA adapter, and an HDD Sata 2.5 formatted with the recommended settings from the Dragon City website.

It looks like the IDE loader size has exceeded the limit and some games have stopped working.

1. Не удается прошить микросхему MX29F1610A VA0 на BIOS v2.7 через GDrom, используя болванку Verbatim с образом DreamShell_v4.0.1_Release.cdi
2. Если, микросхема MX29F1610A уже ранее прошита версией BIOS 2.4 или 2.6, то используя HDD её можно прошить на v2.7.
3. На GDrom заменен лазер от PC CD привода Sony. И таким модифицированным приводом уже ранее прошивал микросхемы MX29F1610A на BIOS v2.4 CD образом 2019 года DreamShell_v4.0.0_RC4.cdi
4. Вопрос, почему микросхема не прошивается через CD с образом 2024 года DreamShell_v4.0.1_Release.cdi? Ошибка№4, если повторно попытаться - то черный экран с каким то текстом.

1. Приводом очень удобно прошивать новую-чистую микросхему. Сделал BIOS mod и загрузился через CD с записанным образом DreamShell_v4.0.1_Release. Прошил микросхему и можно демонтировать рабочий привод на условно нерабочий с IDE HDD модом.
2. Можно конечно загрузиться через CD с образом DreamShell_bootloader_v2.7, но для этого нужно как минимум сделать ещё один мод в материнской плате, например IDE или SD, что не очень удобно. Либо сделать IDE HDD мод в рабочий привод с лазером.
3. Потому, чистую микросхему удается прошить только образом 2019 DreamShell_v4.0.0_RC4.cdi на версию v2.4. Затем устанавливать привод с HDD и уже с него прошивать на версию v2.7

I don't know if his dreamshell stuff is the more efficient, probably now dreamshell is sending/reading datas as fast as the mother board can handle.

1. В общем, не стал я мучить и без того старенький привод консольными командами. Но протестировал более раннюю версию образа DreamShell_v4.0.0_Release.cdi от 2024_02_03 с версией v2.6 записанного на CD-r Verbatim и данный образ успешно прошивает микросхемы BIOS.
2. Есть ли какой то ресурс записи у микросхемы BIOS? Перезаписывал десяток раз во время тестов на одну и туже микросхему и теперь появились переживания что она выйдет из строя. MX29F1610A VA0.
