Hello !
It's not possible to use a PCB Controller VA1 on motherboard VA0 !
If you do that,the controller doesn't work.
So have you an idea how convert a PCB Controller VA1 for be compatible with motherboard VA0?

VA1 have +3.3v logic level on G1 bus
VA0 have +5v logic level

It's possible but you'll have to rewire/modify a lot of things.
From my record, the pinouts for the controller ports are the same (I'm not entirely sure though), but the pins that are responsible for +Vcc, battery, LED and FAN are different.
Definitely does not worth the trouble.
Much better simply buy a spare part.

It's basically a wiring change, not too complex, but not so easy to execute in practical terms.
I messed with this years ago, because I also wanted to do the same thing.
I'll check the necessary points in the next weekend.
