ISO Loader 0.7.x Beta

Has anyone tried Urban Chaos on 0.7.x? For me it just restarts the Dreamcast when you try and boot it. It works on the previous loader but froze on me during a training mission.

I think I'm having the same issue with Deep Fighter. I'll try Urban Chaos later today.

Just tried Deep Fighter and it resets with that as well. Might be related.

I tried the second loader but just got a black screen.

deep fighter is with cdda maybe the problem come from that.
I don't know the differences between loader 0.7.x and 0.6.1 but it runs perfectly with 0.6.1.

I'm getting black screen on the USA Fur Fighters. I set it to 0x8ce00000 but still black screen. I'm using an IDE to Sata adapter.

Sorry it's taken me so long to reply. My dual bios got damaged Thursday night and I wasn't able to run anything off of the hard drive. Tonight I tried PAL Urban Chaos and the game runs really well. Some of the videos seem slow but I don't know how they are supposed to play.

Just tried the PAL version and it works for me as well (on the original 0.7.x loader). I guess it's just the NTSC version that doesn't work.

Visual concept work fine only with IDE hdd

I think he's referring to the bug in the timer fixed loader that broke the CE games:

What's new in this version:

Deep Fighter, AeroWings 2 now work

Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare not stable, it can boot normal or with texture bug

New region emulation, if you run from IP.BIN then syscalls emulate region (if in IP.BIN writed "JUE" used region from flashrom). It's improve compatibility for game with simple regional protection, example Championship Surfer

Deep Fighter run well with cdda 0.6.1 ide.bin loader but it's a very good new to have it with this new loader !

Alone in the dark at least for PAL console run with no texture bug with 0.6.1 but the FMV are lagging a little with cathedral effect for sound, then it's good to have it also on this new loader. Hope the textures bug will be easy to correct...
finally pcwzrd13 may would enjoy this fabulous game ;-) (maybe also with the region update)

Aerowings 2 seems to be one of the last relunctant and now it's dreamshell compatible !! Great !
We have to check the very last official games with no cdda :
- san fransisco rush 2049
- Trigger Heart Exelica
- Vampire Chronicle for Matching Service
- Others ?

The last thing to see is the evil twin boot, I if understand. I guess it's very difficult to find what's wrong because it runs randomly after the 2 intros videos even if there are downsampled...

And finally this update for region emulation : like championship surfer, I hope visual concepts games will run on PAL console with a patching JUE IP.BIN
It's necessary to patch a IP.BIN with JUE and the text below (above the MR image) for japan region or european region ? Or just patching the flag is enough ?

It's a very good update you have done, very impressive as always


On my side I just tested yesterday SNES4ALL and you're right the roms are in cd folder, every games run perfectly except chrono trigger ^^ but probably needs an other preset than the default one.

Now it's our turn to try everything for helping you !
