Is it possible to purchase white plastic piece of dreamcast lens?

A few days ago,I get dreamcast GD-ROM part by chance.
It has all of GD-ROM part except for laser lens.
So,I think If I purchase spu3200 lens or making use of pc cd-rom ,it would be possible to use this GD-ROM part.
So I disassemble 20 years old LG CD-ROM in order to make use of its CD lens.



But After tearing apart CD lens from CD-ROM, I only then noticed that I cannot use this GD-ROM part because I don't have white piece of plastic and a thin metallic piece which follow the pattern of the swirly-pattern steel bar like below screenshot.


Is there any store or site where I can purchase this white plastic piece and a thin metallic piece?

Hello. It's very unlikely that you'll find this white part on sale.
Aliexpress sells used laser heads and gd-ROM drives. The heads are sold without a white part. The quality of lasers is unpredictable. Some buyers get working lasers and adjust the resistance for stable disk reading. Some are unlucky and the purchased lasers do not work. The situation is the same with gd-rom. In my opinion, the best (but not cheap) solution is to purchase a GD-EMU.
gd-rom price ~ $35-40
gd-emu price ~ $ 75-80
In my opinion, it is better to spend money on gd-emu and get a good upgrade than to play the lottery.

Привет. Очень маловероятно что ты найдёшь эту белую деталь в продаже.
На Aliexpress продаются использованные лазерные головки и gd-rom приводы. Головки продаются без белой детали. Качество лазеров непредсказуемое. Некоторые покупатели получают работающие лазеры и подстраивают сопротивление для стабильного чтения дисков. Некоторым не везёт и купленные лазеры не работают. С gd-rom такая же ситуация. На мой взгляд самое лучшее (но недешевое) решение приобрести GD-EMU.
цена gd-rom ~ 35-40$
цена gd-emu ~ 75-80$
На мой взгляд лучше потратиться на gd-emu и получить хороший апгрейд, чем играть в лотерею.
