need help with dreamcast HDD IDE

It just freezes at the "Press A" part?

I tried the controller in all four ports, and tried rebooting / removing the CD, but it won't go past the Press A part?

I'll try plugging in the DC keyboard - I noticed before with the KOS examples that it can freeze if no keyboard is plugged in!

I have the keyboard plugged into port 2 now...

I tried pressing A on the controller with the BIOS switch set to the SWAT BIOS, then tried setting to Sega BIOS, then without a CD-R in / lid open, then with no SD card in etc. (resetting after each attempt).

Code is stuck somewhere?
