RC1 BUG REPORT~

The first, we must thank for SWAT, the RC1 is so cool.
It make play sd-iso without GD-rom became true.
Swat, you are superman!!

I found some bugs,so have a report.

1. RC1 have some Compatibility problem in TF card.

The same TF card,runing RC1. after "press Y for 60hz",screen be black....forever

2.ISOLOADER is a cool app. But ,when the iso filename have a "space"
ex: need for speed.iso,IT couldnt boot it.
BUt, need_for_speed.iso is working.

3. I have install dreamshell boot loader (2nd) into the bios(Flash IC.).
I found DC booting up,couldnt to select "boot from sd" too fast, it often make SDLOADER stuck with led keep lighting. and screen black.
when you do noting,the select menu auto into SD function,it always be normal working.

Just be these, and I will keep on testing...

On your adapter, very long wires. New DS version capricious to long wires... Cut it, or in best case create adapter as dongle.
DS file system (as is KOS fs) has never supported the spaces in the file name and in the nearest future will not be.

4. I found a sly thing...
The same sdiso file, boot with CD, is working well.

But, I boot dc from bios dreamshell . it stuck.
So...I set to the " ip bin bootstrap 1 and high memory" and start the iso file.It make dc soft reset.
Then , I start the iso like boot from cd, it also be work perfect.
So strange .... so inexplicability....

BTW: There are some game like this, when boot up from BIOS.
With cd, them all work well.

Just Wanted to say i love the work you do SWAT keep it up.

Dreamshell 4.0 RC1 LiveCD (not installed)

Bugs:
File Manager:
-When using the scroll up - down icons, scroll is restricted to 14 clicks before it stops. This happens even if the distance is longer than 14 clicks. The only way to fully scroll is by clicking and dragging the scroll bar.

-Some clicks don't register when using copy, delete, etc... You have to go back to the item deselect and reselect then try again.


These are very minor issues so I do not think they are of high importance but I'm just giving a bug report to help out.

mych, in order for the game to work, you need to flash the another bios, the one that is called "DreamShell loader with bios", only with it you can play games with boot from bios.
