@dragoncity : have you try with CF too ?

@megavolt85 : A time ago you planned to add a master mode, in order to add a new drive (DVD or something you want) do you think if we don't have to choose a slave mode SATA2IDE we'll have a better data flow for ide.bin loader ? Because the slave IDE2SATA are visibly poor quality.

The master the mode will not affect compatibility its adding not in a priority
For add master mode need rewrite KOS and DS, it will take a lot of time, but will not affect compatibility, it is better to spend this time for improvement of the loader

I've moved all of my games on to an old IDE 160GB Hard drive and I can play the Visual Concept games. NBA2K2, NFL2K2, Flogian Bros and Ooga Booga. I am however having a hard time with Japanese games.
Can't get Super Puzzle Fighter, Super Street Fighter IIX, Ikaruga and Space Channel 5 Part 2 going.

The loader on the first page was updated.

With 0.7.0 beta loader karous don't boot...
It's just me or you have the same thing ?
I have when I removed the fast boot no error and freeze at executing at 0xac01000

Else MSR, space invaders are still running like a charm.

King of Fighters 2002 worked in 7b but not in 7b2.
*edit Under Defeat also worked in 7b but not in 7b2.
*edit Fatal Fury Mark of the Wolves worked in 7b but not in 7b2

@megavolt - Capcom vs SNK 2 works perfectly.

@dragoncity - Yes. I do have a PAL console. As soon as megavolt mentioned that the VC games work on IDE I tried proper IDE hard drive and they work on PAL console.

Just noticed something weird with the new 0.7.x b2 loader. Crazy Taxi shows Japanese text instead of English. I'm using the NTSC-U GDI.

Edit: Same thing happens with ChuChu Rocket. The loader must be triggering a region flag, changing the game's language to Japanese.

I had that same situation when loading ChuChu Rocket! for the first time on the original 0.7.0 loader, but that was the only game where it occurred.

For me it doesn't happen on the original 0.7.0. Just on the new b2 version.

I discovered a new issue with 0.7.0 B2. PSO will freeze when loading new areas or quests after playing for around 45mins or so. This happened to me the last two times I played. Switched back to the previous version of the loader and now it's fine.

Oh difficult to see it, the 0.7.x and 0.7.0 B2 need a "mix" ?

Megavolt85 thank you for updating the loader to run in 60HZ all games.
Games tested that now works.

Super Runabout - San Francisco Edition v1.005 (NTSC).
Under Defeat v1.001 (2006) (G.rev) (NTSC) (JP) stopped working.

Just played some more Planet Ring with DreamShell and wanted to give a bit more detail on the issues I reported a while back.

The "synch error" problem in Ball Bubble occurs on both the CF card and HDD. It also makes no difference what loader I use. All versions of 0.6 and 0.7 have the issue.

The issue with Splash may have just been a one-time connection issue as it worked perfectly fine this time around.
