Do you have try super runaboot with your system ? In order to see your adapter improvement.

I can send my CF and adapter if you want to try your raspberry with this mod.

I orderd now a Compact flash ide Drive. There are some sd to Compact Flash Adapter out there, are they good?

Same as SATA or worse.

The sd to Cf adapter works with RC4 except wince games.
Mine doesn't work with RC5.

I advise you to buy a small CF card in a first time. follow my link above to find the best price I found.

Hello !

With your feedback we noticed a strange thing, I already PM you on this "Swat".

So after several tests, and several configurations, it turns out that between a VA0 and VA1 motherboard we do not have the same result on games with CDDA AND loaders:
11 > isoldr_v0.6.10_beta
12 > isoldr_v0.6.10_beta_dyn
13 > isoldr_v0.6.10_beta_dyn_dt1

This can be checked quickly with the game "Toy Commander", by going to "options" then "sound".
With "Juke Box Mode".

If you use a CM VA1 the sound does not crash with these loaders.
On the other hand, with a CM VA0 the sound is bad...

For what ?

So... it's beyond me, I can only give this feedback, I know that there is a relationship between the loader and the motherboard, but after that I won't say any more.

I don't know if "Swat" you were able to obtain a CM VA0 in the meantime, because that would speak to you even better.

If you ever have another loader on hand etc... we'll test it!

After some testing i could say i have cracking audio in my VA0 dreamcast in Re-Volt with Last 0.8 Loader. I use an IDE to SATA Adapter. If i use the same Adapter ob a VA1 Console all is working perfekt. So ist seems to me in the VA0 dreamcasts is some Thing different than to the va1.

I will try the same setup with cf Card and Schere you the Results. If you need a Log or some Thing i can send you one

So, that's the news. Unfortunately, I don’t have VA0.
The current log is unlikely to help, but it would be nice if you recorded this sound. I can recognize some things by ear.
But you need to record with aux, and not use a microphone.

With ssd and cf, in order to see a difference.

I found that there are some subtle changes when using IDE hard disks and SATA hard disks. The difference is about 3 speeds in the synchronization settings and reading. It may be that the native IDE is the fastest.SATA is about 13% slower.

Thank you! I've never heard that in these games. Sounds like there are some differences in AICA between consoles. Maybe some params like frequency. Does it sound the same if you choose SQ?

Tested tokyo xtreme racer with the result also CDDA sound has same bug
There SQ Mode is working with same ugly sound. No difference between tmu 2 and 1. What is interesting is that the ugly sound is for a short time going but is comming again after 10 secounds

Hello SWAT, and everyone,

about "Tomb Raider Chronicles" I discovered that the problem it's the game it self, nothing related to the mods or ISOLoader version, if you are interested here `http://www.dc-swat.ru/forum/thread-4039.html`; I explained the problem as I made severals tests in these past weeks.

Yes, toy Commander, toy Racer have same Problem with cdda audio. All games with cdda audio make the same Strange Problem.

You can hear the Problem in start menu in the Game ans so on.

If i Took the Drive in a other va1 dreamcast all works perfect.
Also dragoncity has the same Problem....

I also think va0 is not auch a rare console because you can find it on eBay and also many of the Special Editions are va0
