bios flasher reporting wrong voltage on va0?

Just like the title of the thread says, i have a va0 that i want to install dual bios on, but the bios flasher program detects the original chip as a MPR-XXXXX, size 2048kb, voltage 3v, access read only.

Is that a normal fail of the bios flasher app? I'm asking because i thought all bios chips on va0 were 5v. I am running bios flasher on dreamshell through a GDemu, i did change the capacitor arrays in order to do that and not damage the GDemu, but i don't see how that would affect voltage on the bios.
